After years of planning and dreaming, we have signed an agreement with a contractor to build the Longido District Learning Centre! The construction is scheduled to begin on June 15. It will involve local workers and be overseen by the District Engineer.
The people in the picture are from left to right: Mr. Felix (the contractor), Victor Kabati (Headmaster of Orbomba School), Sarah Mollel (Headmistress Montessori Nursery School) and Justinian Ngemela (Village Chairperson).
Victor, Sarah and Justinian are members of the board of “Learning in Longido”, the Tanzanian NGO that will manage the construction and operation of the Learning Centre.
