An Evening with Michelle Valberg in support of TEMBO
Join us on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 for refreshments, live music and a spectacular presentation by renowned photographer Michelle Valberg.
For over 35 years, Michelle Valberg has been telling stories with her camera. This eminent, award-winning Nikon Ambassador and Canadian Geographic Photographer-in-Residence has traveled to all continents in search of photographic opportunities. Michelle was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2022. She is a sought-after speaker, celebrated author, community leader, and an advocate for animals, the environment and conservation.
Her presentation will be followed by an inspirational story about TEMBO and some of the lives we changed across our past 20 years.

Join us for an evening with Michelle Valberg followed by a reception with light refreshments! During the reception, Michelle will be present to sell and sign her books, with proceeds going to support TEMBO. The evening will end with cake and a toast to TEMBO’s 20 years of work in Tanzania and its future success.
Tickets: In-person event: $175 (includes charitable tax receipt for $125)
If you live outside of the Ottawa area or cannot attend in person, there will be a virtual event including an online presentation with Michelle Valberg. Link will be provided to registered guests 2 hours in advance of the presentation.
