FUNDRAISING EMAILS
FOR THE ELEPHANT (60KM) ROUTE
I have registered to be a part of The Serengeti Challenge with TEMBO. This means I am going to [walk, run, cycle] across the great Serengeti plain in Africa- virtually, of course. I am doing this to raise money for girls and women in northern Tanzania.
My goal is to travel from the airstrip in the town of Seronera (in the middle of the park) to Fort Ikoma on the northern boundary, a distance of 60km over 10 days. As I travel, I will be raising funds for girls and women in the Longido region of Tanzania.
TEMBO is a small registered Canadian charity that has been supporting girls and women in northern Tanzania for over 17 years. To date, TEMBO has sponsored more than 450 girls for secondary school, 100 girls for post-secondary education and offered micro-finance loans to more than 300 women in Longido.
I encourage you to support this worthy project. It is changing lives.
Thank you for your donation and I promise to share stories and photos as I travel alongside the wildebeests!
